To download video on Infinix, Tecno or itel phones, you do not need a special app. Copy the video link from TikTok, YouTube, Facebook or Instagram, open fistty.com/ in Chrome or Phoenix browser, paste the link and tap Download. The video saves to your Downloads folder and shows up in your Gallery within a few seconds.
Download it now with Fistty. Paste the link, tap Download. No app, no login, free.
How to download a video on your Infinix, Tecno or itel phone
These three brands all run Android with their own skin on top. Infinix and Tecno use HiOS (some newer Infinix phones use XOS), and itel uses itel OS. The steps below work the same on all of them, on 2026 models and on older phones too.
- Copy the video link. Open the app the video is on. On TikTok, tap the Share arrow on the right side of the video, then tap Copy link. On YouTube, tap Share under the video, then Copy link. On Facebook, tap the three dots at the top of the post, then Copy link. On Instagram, tap the three dots above a post, or the paper-plane icon on a Reel, and choose Copy link.
- Open Fistty. Open Chrome or Phoenix browser and go to fistty.com/. The home page accepts links from every platform Fistty supports, so you do not have to pick a tool first. If you prefer, open the matching page, for example Fistty’s TikTok downloader or Fistty’s YouTube downloader.
- Paste the link. Long-press inside the box and tap Paste. Then tap the Download button next to the box.
- Choose a quality. Fistty shows the options it found for that video, for example 1080p, 720p and 480p, plus MP3 for YouTube videos. Tap the one you want. For most phone screens, 720p is the sweet spot.
- Confirm the download. Chrome may show a small bar at the bottom asking you to confirm. Phoenix browser opens its own download manager. Tap Download or OK.
- Find the file. The video lands in the Downloads folder in your phone storage. Open the Gallery app (called AI Gallery on many Infinix and Tecno phones) and it appears under Videos or in a Download album. You can also open the Files app and tap Downloads.
There is no sign-up, and Fistty never asks for your TikTok, Facebook or Google password. If any site asks for a password before it lets you download a video, close it.
Which browser should you use?
Most Infinix, Tecno and itel phones come with two browsers already installed: Google Chrome and Phoenix browser. Both work with Fistty. Many people also install Opera Mini to save data. Here is how they compare for downloads.
| Browser | Good points | Things to know |
|---|---|---|
| Chrome | Simple, updates through the Play Store, always saves to the Downloads folder | Shows a confirm bar for each download. Turn on “Ask where to save files” in Settings > Downloads if you want to pick a folder yourself |
| Phoenix browser | Built-in download manager, can pause and resume, shows the file size before you save | Has its own folder setting. Check Downloads inside the Phoenix menu if you cannot find a file in Gallery |
| Opera Mini | Data-saving mode, popular on small bundles | Extreme data-saving mode can stop some pages from working. Switch to High mode if Fistty does not load properly |
If a download fails in one browser, try the same link in another one. That alone fixes most problems. For a longer list of fixes, see TikTok Video Not Downloading? 9 Fixes That Work.
Save data on MTN, Airtel, Glo and 9mobile
Video is the biggest data user on any phone. A few habits will keep your bundle alive much longer.
- Pick 480p or 720p, not 1080p. On a 6.5-inch phone screen, 720p already looks sharp. 1080p uses far more data for very little visible gain. 480p is fine for WhatsApp status and group chats.
- Download on Wi-Fi when you can. If your office, school, church or a friend’s place has Wi-Fi, save your downloads for then. Keep a list of links in your notes app and clear them all at once.
- Use night bundles. MTN, Airtel, Glo and 9mobile all sell night plans that cost a few hundred Naira or less and work from around midnight to early morning. Prices and sizes change often, so check your network’s app. Set an alarm, download your videos, and go back to sleep.
- Turn on Data Saver. Go to Settings > Network & internet > Data Saver. This stops other apps from using data in the background while your download is running.
- Download once, share many times. Instead of five friends each downloading the same video, one person downloads it and sends it over WhatsApp, Xender or Bluetooth. Xender and Bluetooth do not use any data at all.

Managing storage on a 32GB or 64GB phone
Many itel and entry-level Tecno phones come with 32GB or 64GB of storage, and the system itself takes a big chunk of it. Downloaded videos pile up fast, so plan where they go.
Move videos to an SD card
Most of these phones have a microSD slot. Open the Files app, go to Downloads, long-press a video, tap Move and choose the SD card. On many HiOS and itel OS versions you can also make the SD card the default storage for downloads inside the browser settings, so you never have to move files by hand.
Use the phone’s cleaner
Infinix and Tecno phones ship with Phone Master, and itel phones have a similar cleaner app. Run it once a month to clear leftover cache from browsers and WhatsApp. Be careful with the “large files” section: check what is inside before you let it delete anything from Downloads.
Delete after you share
If you downloaded a video only to post it as a WhatsApp status or send it to a group, delete the original from Downloads after it is sent. WhatsApp keeps its own copy in its media folder, so you end up with two copies of every video if you do not clean up.
Common problems on Infinix, Tecno and itel phones
- The download finished but the video is not in Gallery. Gallery apps scan for new media on a delay. Open the Files app and tap Downloads instead, or restart the phone so the Gallery rescans the folder.
- “Storage full” message. Clear space or move files to the SD card, then try the download again.
- The link gives an error. The video may be private, deleted, or set to friends only. No online tool can download a private video, including Fistty. Ask the owner to send you the file directly.
- The browser asks for storage permission. Older Android versions ask the browser for permission to save files the first time. Tap Allow. If you tapped Deny before, go to Settings > Apps > Chrome > Permissions and turn Storage on.
- The video has no sound. If the original is muted on TikTok or Instagram, the download will be muted too. Check the original first.
- The page keeps reloading. This is usually Opera Mini’s extreme data-saving mode or a weak network signal. Switch to Chrome, move to a spot with better signal, and try again.
Downloading a video to watch offline or to share with friends is fine for personal use. Do not re-upload another person’s video as your own; that can break platform rules and copyright law. If you are a creator with a concern about a download, see the Fistty DMCA page.

Frequently asked questions
How do I download videos on an Infinix phone without an app?
Copy the video link from the app, open fistty.com/ in Chrome or Phoenix browser, paste the link and tap Download. The video saves to your Downloads folder and appears in AI Gallery.
Where do downloaded videos go on Tecno phones?
They go to the Downloads folder in internal storage. You can see them in the AI Gallery app or in the Files app under Downloads.
Can I download videos directly to my SD card on an itel phone?
Yes. Move the file from Downloads to the SD card using the Files app, or set the SD card as the default download location in your browser settings if your phone offers that option.
Which quality should I choose to save data in Nigeria?
Choose 480p for WhatsApp status and quick sharing, or 720p for watching on your phone. Avoid 1080p on mobile data unless you are on Wi-Fi or a night bundle.
Why does my downloaded video not show in Gallery?
Gallery apps sometimes take a moment to scan new files. Open the Files app and check Downloads, or restart the phone so the Gallery refreshes.
Is it legal to download videos on my phone?
Downloading a public video for personal offline viewing is generally fine. Re-uploading someone else's video as your own can break copyright law and platform rules.
